library1Drawn to the monstrous and macabre, Christina Bergling has been weaving nightmares since childhood. Her horror tales slither from post-apocalyptic (Savages , Screechers) to psychological (The Waning) to comedy (The Rest Will Come) to mystery (Followers) and anything in between (various anthologies and zines including The Horror Collection series, 96th of October, Graveyard Girls, Demonic Wildlife).


img_20181014_195501_940In college, she pursued a professional writing degree and started publishing small scale. It all began with “How to Kill Yourself Slowly.”

Bergling is a member of the Horror Writers Association and Denver Horror Collective and a dedicated voice in the horror genre. She has been featured on panels at Colorado Festival of Horror. She devours horror in all its forms—movies, books, festivals, conventions, stores, haunted attractions.


bloodyAlopeciaBy day, she navigates the shadows of the IT world. By night, she turns trauma into art. When she’s not writing, she hikes rugged Colorado trails, dances wildly, and sucks out all the marrow of life with her family.

  1. i just read “how to kill yourself slowly” and i believe that you truly understand depression because nobody who hadnt suffer from it, couldnt write a better article. It was like speaking to myself while reading it.

  2. Are you still writing? I must admit, I haven’t was your books but am fascinated none the less. Do you still believe in the same values that made you write your earlier books?
